How Booking Works
- Your website form is an enquiry, not a confirmed booking.
- We check availability, hire length, driver age, vehicle, towbar and towing suitability.
- We confirm the hire price, paperwork and collection time before payment.
- A booking is confirmed only after written confirmation, payment and signed hire paperwork.
Pickup And Return
- This is customer pickup and drop-off self-hire. You collect, tow and return the sauna yourself.
- Collection and return are from NP26 unless we agree otherwise in writing. Exact pickup details are shared after booking.
- At pickup, we check your ID, vehicle, towbar, towing position, paperwork and payment status.
- We complete handover photos and show you how to use the sauna safely.
- A deposit or card pre-authorisation may be required before collection.
- The sauna must be returned clean, complete, undamaged and on time.
- Late return can affect the next hire, so extra charges may apply.
Vehicle And Towing Requirements
- Your vehicle must be legally allowed and practically suitable to tow an unbraked 750kg MAM trailer.
- You must have a suitable, roadworthy, type-approved towbar for your vehicle.
- You must fit a matching registration plate to the trailer before towing.
- You must have an adequate rear view; suitable towing mirrors may be required.
- The trailer has a Bluetooth-enabled reversing camera to help with manoeuvring, but it does not replace safe observation, mirrors, or a banksman where needed.
- The trailer must be attached securely using the correct coupling and safety cable.
- You must provide proof that your insurance covers towing a hired trailer. If you cannot provide proof of matching cover, you must purchase the insurance option arranged through our provider before collection.
- We may ask for evidence that your vehicle can tow the sauna trailer and that you have towing experience.
- Only the approved driver may tow the sauna unless we agree another approved driver in writing.
Using The Sauna Safely
- Use only the supplied or approved firewood. One batch of firewood for one sauna session is included. Extra wood is not included unless agreed before collection.
- Do not move, modify, overload or tamper with the stove, flue, trailer, safety equipment or sauna structure.
- Do not use the sauna under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Leave immediately if you feel dizzy, unwell, overheated or uncomfortable.
- A responsible adult must be present whenever the sauna is in use.
- Under-16s may only use the sauna with direct adult supervision. Sauna use is not recommended for children under 10.
- No more than the agreed maximum number of people may be inside the sauna at one time.
- Remove shoes before entering the sauna.
- Sit on a towel while using the sauna.
- Remove jewellery, watches and metal items before entering, as these can become very hot.
- The stove, sauna stones and flue become extremely hot and must not be touched.
- If a carbon monoxide alarm sounds, leave immediately and contact us.
- If anything is not working as it should, contact us immediately and do not attempt to repair it yourself.
- Check and empty the ash pan only as instructed, using the supplied container and taking care with hot ash.
- Keep the sauna locked when it is not in use.
Health And Wellbeing
Sauna use may not be suitable for everyone. If you are pregnant, have a heart condition, blood pressure issue, mobility concern, medical condition, or have been advised to avoid heat exposure, please seek medical advice before using the sauna.
We describe the experience as warm, calming and relaxing. We do not claim that sauna use treats, cures or prevents medical conditions.
Where The Sauna Can Be Used
- Use the sauna only at the private home, holiday stay, campsite pitch or land agreed before hire.
- The location must be safe, stable and suitable for a wood-fired sauna.
- You must have permission from the property owner or landowner.
- Use the sauna only for the agreed private booking.
- Do not move the sauna between locations during the hire unless we agree this in writing.
